APRIL FOOL’S BRAND GUIDELINES

April Fool's Day is celebrated on April 1st each year and is known for jokes, pranks, and playful mischief. It’s a lighthearted tradition that encourages humour and surprise.

The Challenge

Create a user-friendly brand guidelines document that defines April Fool's Day as a brand through its own values, messaging, and visual identity.

The Approach

Working with my classmate Juliana Thiessen, we explored the playful and mischievous nature of the holiday and translated it into a structured brand system. We developed voice guidelines, visual elements, and messaging principles that reflect the humour and surprise associated with April Fool's Day.

The Outcome

We created a comprehensive brand guidelines document outlining the holiday's personality, tone of voice, key messages and visual direction. The framework ensures creative work remains consistent while leaving room for playful and imaginative campaigns.
